Who we are
This group began as a few "birthy" moms gathering for fellowship and camaraderie. After feeling how deeply enriching these friendships became, we decided to form Christian Birthworkers of Central Iowa.
We know how incredible it can be to share faith with those caring for you during such transformative times as pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Our hope is to connect Christ-filled perinatal providers with families who desire to share faith with their providers.

Christian Birth Workers of Central Iowa empowers providers to glorify God as they serve women & their families through the journey of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, & parenthood.

While our members come from a variety of denominational backgrounds, the following tenets provide a unified foundation for our fellowship:

-We hope to provide birth workers with opportunities for fellowship, prayer, education, & collaboration.
